"To those who don't ride, no explanation will do. To those who do ride, no explanation is necessary"*.  Personally, riding is fun because it has a sense of adventure. To ride is to meditate, I have to bring myself to a state of consciousness where the mind operates the motorcycle through the body in harmony and with trust. 

Riding is not same as driving. Other than the fun of riding  (Why we ride? - https://6th.ai/blog-4/2017/9/23/why-we-ride ), there are many other differences. Let's start with the top four.

Riding motorcycles is considered to be 30X more dangerous than cars. Our goal is to make riding motorcycles as safe as driving cars. We do this by using technology to keep the rider safe and stay informed about their ride, their road and other motorists around.
